Speakeasy Kitchen Bar was created as a nod to the speakeasy culture of illegal drinking dens set up during America’s prohibition era of the 1920s and early 1930s, nonetheless, completely legal.
Breaking out of the traditional mold of local Speakeasy’s our restaurant and bar haven’t been much of a well-kept secret over the years.
Embracing the culture of Melbourne’s after-work drinks with a lunch menu that transforms into evening dining to suit every atmosphere and customer. Our small shopfront entrance – is a deceptive one. As you move through the space to a fully licensed dining space, courtyard beer garden, and front artisanal bar to suit your afternoon Spritz fix, followed by a smooth evening Chardonnay.
